New website to help monitor performance of manufacturers under API quality programs

WASHINGTON, August 21, 2009 – API is rolling out a new website, effective September 1, 2009, that will provide users of products certified by API, manufacturers of those products, and any other parties with the opportunity to confidentially communicate concerns they may have to the appropriate API department for investigation.

The new web site will be accessed at www.api.org/ncr.  The site is linked to API’s composite list of all API registered and certified companies.

API’s Monogram and Registration programs help facilities and manufacturers around the world implement quality standards in making products that provide value for the oil and gas industry.  Using the new API web page, users will be able to confidentially report any instances of licensees or licensed products not meeting API standards.

Questions about the new website should be addressed to API’s Department of Training and Certification at certification@api.org
