Fort Worth Employees Help the Troops

The staff of the Burlington Resources (BR) Owner Relations department in Fort Worth recently donated items for care packages for U.S. Marines who are serving overseas.

The packages are labeled "Love from Texas" and will go to Marines from the local area identified by the Dallas-Fort Worth Marine Corps Families. This nonprofit organization provides friendship, support, and encouragement to families of those serving in the Corps, and undertakes activities that can benefit the quality of life of individual Marines, such as sending care packages. These go to Marines who are on deployment and in the most need.

If extra donations are collected, they go to similar groups at other bases and are then shipped to Marines from those areas.
