ExxonMobil supports organizations that research significant domestic and foreign policy issues and promote informed public discussion on issues such as economics, the environment, and law and justice. Although most funding goes to organizations within the United States, ExxonMobil is interested in impacting foreign relations, international business operations, and laws and regulations in the many countries in which we operate around the world.
ExxonMobil supports the Council on Foreign Relations to help promote constructive discussion in private and in public. The Asia Society, the Corporate Council on Africa, and other similar organizations help the people of the United States better understand societies and cultures around world.
ExxonMobil also funds in part the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research and the Competitive Enterprise Institute, organizations dedicated to strengthening the foundations of free enterprise.
