Partners In Flight

Partners In Flight (PIF) is a cooperative effort involving partnerships among many non-governmental organizations, private industry and governmental agencies that emphasizes the conservation of birds not covered by existing conservation initiatives.

In addition to supporting PIF's habitat restoration and protection efforts, ConocoPhillips also is underwriting the creation of a major new Web site focusing on birds. The Web site will include resources for all people interested in birds, from educators to backyard birders to serious amateurs. It will feature a map of the United States and other locations showing the location of nature centers, preserves and other educational opportunities.

For children, the Web site will have interactive games and an online magazine. The site is intended to be a "one stop shop" for all kinds of educational materials about birds and an entry port to dozens of other Web sites featuring birds and bird-related information.
