74th API Federal Tax Forum

API will be hosting the 2008 Federal Tax Forum in Houston on April 21st and 22nd.  The event will be held at the InterContinental Houston Hotel located in the Galleria area at 2222 W. Loop South.  The Forum will be organized with a general session on the first day and various breakout sessions on the second day.  As usual, we will certify the Forum for CLE and CPE credits.  Based upon past experience, we expect that the Forum will qualify for approximately 11 hours of credits, including the opportunity to earn at least 1 hour of ethics.

Fees

The registration fee for attendees from API Member Companies is $350, and $425 for all others.  This fee includes admittance to the Forum, lunches for both days and the complimentary buffet reception on Monday, April 21st at 5PM.

Hotel

API has reserved a block of rooms at the InterContinental Houston Hotel for people attending the Forum at a room rate of $179 a night for a standard single room.  You may reserve a room at this group rate by calling the InterContinental at 800-316-8645 and informing the reservations assistant that you will be attending the API Tax Forum.  To ensure that you receive a room at that rate, reservations must be made by April 7th.     

Attire

Business casual attire is appropriate for the seminar and all related functions.
